Reference: Womens Wear Daily, 10 Mar 1944, p 17, described (alongside Jelly Belly pieces) the new Trifari Photo Locket, either pendant, pin, or ring 'for either a man or a woman'; click thumbnail above to view. The patent, originally for a finger ring, is reproduced below (scroll down); designer Philipe Cohen et al, dated 1929 - assignors to Samuel Yokelson of NY.
