Reference: Advertised for sale at Stewart's, price $20 plus 20% tax, with matching earrings, in the [Louisville KY] Courier-Journal, 14 Dec 1947, p 23; click thumbnail above to view advertisement. The clasp on the back for one prong (unknown in pre-sterling pieces) confirms an unpatented design from the 1947 'Romantique' series, continuing and adding to the 1940 'Rococo' Empress Eugenie designs (some of which were produced again in 1948). ••Reference Links - tkf7286
