Marked: Trifari with Crown, Pat Pend
Reference: Patent (for the large version) is reproduced below (scroll down); designer A Philippe, filed Jan, granted April 1952. Brunialti, American Costume Jewelry - Art and Industry (2008) Vol 2 p 199, clear example, referring to a lucite body - the body in all these pieces is actually glass.
