Marked: Jomaz, Pat 2583988 (on clips)
Reference: Mark suggests a date before 1955 - mid 50s. Patent is for the clasp mechanism of the clip, filed 1949 and granted to Frederick Ballou Jr himself in Jan 1952
Condition: Excellent, apart from a small chip on one cabochon
