Reference: There is no patent despite the mark. An advert in the Los Angeles Times, 13 Mar 1942 p 20, listed many items in Boucher's current collection, including a 'Blotto Dog', price $11 plus tax, which is probably this pin; click thumbnail above to view advertisement. An article, 'shopping with Dorothy' in The [Cleveland OH] Plain Dealer, 1 March 1942, p 42, described the MB Bunny rabbit for $12.95, and in the same group 'a dog head in the same shiny gold plate with long floppy ears and a mournful expression. This is $10.95'
