Marked: Clips unsigned; Duette machanism marked Coro Duette, Pat No 1798867
Reference: Schiffer, Fun Jewelry, p. 55. Patent is reproduced below (scroll down); designer Gene Verrecchio, dated 1942. The patent shows a different orienatation; this duette appears to be a variant - the fit with the duette mechanism is perfect and the design makes artistic sense compared to other floral Coro duettes (eg Brunialti, Tribute to America, p. 73, C16 and C17)
